Color choice: The colors you chose to go with in your bathroom will really make the biggest statement because it is the first element people are going to notice. Try "cool" colors like blues, greens, and yellows to brighten up the space and make it come alive!
Natural Elements: This is a new trend I have been seeing lately. Instead of adding tile in your bathroom, try hardwood floors. And instead of tile in your shower enclosure why not try natural stone or rock to give it that natural touch? I think with the right material combination you could really make the space look rockin'. Pun intended.
Double Header: I LOVE these! Instead of two shower heads on the same rail, you have one oversized head and a separate handset. It's convenient and luxurious looking at the same time.
Metallic: Finishes such as matte and satin. Brushed stainless steel and brass are also starting up in popularity.
White: I don't think white will ever go out of style. It's a classic, as stated in this article. I, for one, am a big fan because I love simplicity.
Leafy Greens: For all our "green" fans out there, this tip is for you! Incorporating plants into your bathroom not just your kitchen is a wonderful way to enhance the environment and relaxation ambiance.
Tile: Even though the natural look may be in trend, we still install tile in about 90% of our bathroom remodels and I think it will always be in style. I think you should try larger tile pieces instead of smaller ones because it adds a modern touch of elegance.
Have you tried any of these? I would love to hear about it or see some pictures! You can send them here.
