So you decided to remodel your master bathroom, your hideaway. You went with white marble, white floor tiles, and clean lines. One really cheap and simple idea is to put up some wood shelving somewhere near your vanity. If you use a dark stained wood it will stand out but not overwhelm or pop too much when you walk into the space. Adding shelving is any easy addition after your bathroom has already been remodeled. You can add some glass vases with some flowers to help create that elegant, luxurious look. I also recommend some sort of pendant lighting in a bathroom with a luxurious feel which is an easy installation after your remodel is complete.
If you decided to remodel your power room - which normally consists of just a small vanity and a toilet you can really have some fun here. I always love the idea of some crazy, colorful wallpaper to really make the space pop. To save space, try adding shelving behind the toilet in the wall to put items such as towels, extra toilet paper, or decor. That way you have some storage but it is not taking up much space. Also a great addition to any space is wicker baskets, I absolutely love wicker baskets, not only do they look adorable but they create a storage solution which is nice for a small bathroom.
If color is your thing then a Mediterranean style bathroom is going to be your pride and joy. You have already painted the walls some pretty reds, oranges, and yellows but how do you go about decorating a space like this? A really interesting (and not so costly) idea is to hang up some plates on the wall that have the Mediterranean feel. These often consist of blue plates with white, elegant markings or lines.
Simple Elegance Bathroom
So you remodeled your hall bathroom, and you feel no need to make it fancy. There is nothing wrong with that! Just make sure you have all the essentials, after all, your guests are going to be using it, not you. You can purchase a metal tower rack from any home good store which will add storage for you, and again you can always add wicker baskets on the shelves to hide the items on the rack if you choose to (can't you tell I love wicker). After you remodeled your bathroom and realize you still do not have enough storage, you can always get a shower caddy. That way guests will be able to have shampoo, conditioner, and body wash available to use if they stay at your home.
Best of luck decorating,
