The first step you want to take when getting ready for a possible remodel is to take a good look around your bathroom. Consider what you might love about your bathroom. Do you love the shower enclosure? Do you love your floor tile? If you can find elements in your bathroom that you find still pleasing to your eye, you may just want to consider a facelift. Maybe a new vanity, new hardware, and a new sink? This will keep your budget down, and will not take nearly as much time. Or maybe you love your vanity and cabinets and just want a new shower enclosure. This is why it is important to take the time to really walk around your bathroom and decide what you love, and what really needs to go! The less of the bathroom you are changing, the lower your costs are going to be.
If you walk around your bathroom and just hate everything, then schedule the free consult! You want to love your house and everything in it, including the bathroom! So do not live with a bathroom you absolutely hate. Keep in mind, when you change the layout of your bathroom, and start moving the shower and tub around it is going to drive your costs up. If you are alright with the original layout, it can be cost efficient to keep the same layout in your remodel.
If you decide to go with the full remodel, make sure you hire a professional! Plumbing and electrical work can be very costly if not done correctly and then having to hire again. Tile work is an art and should be done by a professional who takes pride in their work. I promise these choices will save you in the long run! Whatever you decide, go for what you really want!
