The picture shows a little bit of demo and drywall work going on, so the next step in this remodel is going to be the installation of the cabinetry (the fun part in my opinion). These particular clients went with cabinets from our Wellborn line and they are called Concord Maple Sienna with a Charcoal Glaze. When you add a glaze to any wood cabinet it gives it a little darker tone which some people really like. The door style, Concord is a raised panel door that offers a simple square design in the center with a few grooves to add some depth to the cabinets. They are gorgeous, and in the color Sienna they will look perfect in this kitchen space.
To go along with the cabinets the clients decided to go with Quartzite countertops from one of our fabricators International Tile and Stone. The color of granite they went with is called Perla Venata. Perla Venata Quartzite offers a look that is very similar to marble so it will help brighten up the kitchen space and complement the darker cabinets. If you were wondering, the difference between quartz and quartzite is that quartzite is a naturally occurring metamorphic rock; whereas, quartz is completely man made.
For hardware, the clients decided to choose a Contemporary Metal Pull (from our Richelieu line) which you can see here. This will help keep up with a more modern vibe throughout the kitchen space, rather than it being too traditional.
I am so excited to see what this kitchen is going to turn out like when it is all complete, only four more weeks or so to go! Stay tuned, I will be posting photographs when it is all complete so you can see the final project.
