Amanda is the most recent member of our Stevens Kitchen's "family." She has already dazzled us with her wit and charm. She recently moved to Florida from Texas and was so excited to spend her first Thanksgiving in sunny weather.
She spent the holiday in West Palm Beach at her grandparents home with her family. Amanda's grandma is from Germany and this year was her first traditional Thanksgiving meal.
How cool is that?
With the exception of Amanda's brother who is currently deployed, this was her first Thanksgiving as a family in years.
This is why Thanksgiving and the holiday's are so important: They bring people together.
Amanda described this year's holiday as "lazy", probably the aspect of Turkey Day that most love to participate in. Eating lots of food and relaxing with family. She said her favorite part about this time of year was being able to spend it with her family.
From all of us here at Stevens Kitchens, we hope you enjoyed your Thanksgiving as much as we did. We look forward to sharing our other holidays with you as well.
